I'm trying to help locate a home for a very special dog.
His name is Otis, he's an 8 year old shepard mix. He belongs to a young
woman who was critically injured in the nightclub fire in Rhode island
in February. She is still in the hospital in serious condition, and it
could be years or more before she could ever take care of him again.
Because of this he has been placed for adoption. He is up-to-date on
shots, and his adoption fee has been paid by a private individual who
wants to make sure he gets a good home, but can't take him themselves.
Otis is good with kids and other dogs, but is picky about his owners. he
does need to go to a smoking house--he doesn't care much for non-smokers.
If you can open your home and heart to Otis, please call Officer Liz at
the:
Town of Swansea Animal Shelter
68 Stevens Rd.
Swansea MA 02777
Phone: 508-679-6446
Prospective adopters would need to make a trip to the shelter to meet
Otis, he will not be shipped.
Please feel free to crosspost this.
Anne
