Howdy, all,
I'm following the discussion about Meow Mix/"inappropriate" diets with
great interest.
Part of me wonders if the attribution of longevity in "way back when"
ferts is due to nostalgia, but another part is really intrigued. I,
too, wonder what was /in/ Meow Mix at the time?
Most companies have company "museums" which have examples of box
designs through the years. Usually it's to show how the packaging
changed to suit the times. But I'm wondering if the makers of Meow
Mix have examples of Meow Mix boxes from the Golden Age of Inappropriate
Feeding -- there should probably be a list of ingredients, yes?
Of course, ingredient lists are misleading, but I imagine it'd be better
than nothing. I'm at sea, so I can't get to the Web hunt further --
could someone look up the Meow Mix maker's website, find an email, and
find out if this kind of packaging/advertising archive exists?
Thanks!
-- Kat
