The very first thing you should do is be sure that BOTH of your ferrets
are tested for ADV before introducing them to each other.
 
To introduce them to each other you can certainly try just putting them
together.  Many ferrets have very docile personalities and may accept
each other right off the bat.  If that doesn't work, try exchanging their
bedding so they can get used to each other's scent.
