>The baby food chicken (or Chicken Gravy, which probably is cheaper in
>the long run) really has given her some additional, good quality life.
Keep in mind that baby food is NOT nutritionally complete for a ferret,
but is great for an upset stomach. It's very good for a ferret with
ulcers, but isn't great for long-term feeding.
Chicken gravy, on the other hand, IS complete, and you can feed a ferret
for life very well on it.
I sometimes feed a mixture of both, for the gentleness of the baby food
with a nutritional boost from the gravy.
In a pinch, baby food alone is better than nothing, though.
