So we now have:
Violet- she is less than a year old and a real spaz. never saw a litter
box..so we have some work to do with her..she is still a bit nippy
too..but very sweet. she is a marshell farms baby. she has the mask
and dark nose. She was a unwanted Christmas present.
Loki- she is the old lady of the group at 4 yrs old and is a silver mitt
and just a sweetheart. very affectionate and loves to be held. also a
marshell farms baby she is bonded to Babe
Babe- she is three yrs old..and is pretty stressed right now. she didn't
handle the 100 mile trip home very well. she is cinimmon sable. also a
marshell farms baby
None of these babies had even had good quality kibble..so they won't
touch the Zupreem. They will eat the kitten kibble that is mixed in.
They also had no clue what ferretone is, so I had to rub it on there
noses and tongues so they would taste it. They have never had a covered
cage floor, hammies, blankies, cuddle cups too sleep in or toys. So
today was the beginning of a new life for them. They were like children
on Christmas day with the toys and free roam time. They just keep
running up to us giving us kisses and=20war dancing all over the place.
They have been dooking from the time they wake up until they go to sleep!
I did the bare basics for them today. Trimmed toe nails. I will do ears
and bathes next weekend. I don't think they need the extra stress right
now. They don't need ulcers!
I'm making duck soup and going out to get some baby food for them. Babe
looks a bit thin to me and Violet is pretty small compared to Soxs and
Loki.
We go to the vet on Monday and the shelter is covering the cost of
everything. So that is a big plus.
Wish me luck with our new additions!

PS. I'll get pictures posted as soon as they are all settled and less
stressed.
