I can't help but agree.  I've read many stories of ferrets fighting their
prednisone, and I always just have to say, "huh?" I have always given the
tablet form to my kids and never had a bit of trouble with it.  It always
goes down without a fuss.
 
I have even been able to give the dreaded metronidazole in tablet form
with no fuss whatsoever.  Broken up (but not powdered) in a little
Nutrical, the ferret never knows it's anything but a treat.
