Ummm, I guess I didn't think I had to explain that I remove and clean the
little fella first. :)  I'm not the brightest bulb in the fixture, but I
do know that if I leave it out there, still stuck in the glue it would
die.  I leave some food so that it will think (hopefully) that this is a
good place to find food.  (better than my house).  Sorry if I mislead
anyone into believing that I was silly enough to put a live mouse, stuck
in a glue trap, out in a field with a handful of food, and expect it to
live.  :D
