Certainly keep them for a few more days, regardless of the time of
year.  Two or three days is not long enough to recover from near
starvation/dehydration, even if these little girls seem to be recovering
quickly.  I would recommend a week at least, to be sure they are eating
and drinking well on their own without supplementation.
