SYMPOSIUM IDEA

Was talking with another FML member and happened to ask if they were
going to the symposium... They said they weren't and mentioned cost as a
reason. I've been thinking... How many people would be willing to pitch
in to a fund to go towards a trip to the symposium? I'm thinking that
people can donate throughout the year and nominate someone that they feel
deserves to go. (kind of like a scholarship fund) I know there are many
great people here that spend a lot of money helping ferrets and was
thinking it might be a nice way to reward someone for their hard work
and dedication.

Nominations could even be people experiencing hardships other than
financial that could use a little uplift (thinking J.C-L off the top of
my head)

Anyone interested? I have no idea how it could be worked out, so anyone
with ideas could let me know! Maybe if we get something up and running
Mary could do a write up/feature of the winner and why the ferret
community chose that person...
