I just wanted to chime in for a second to ask you guys to PLEASE buy
raffle tickets for Fuzztek North.  Yvonne DeCarlo runs that shelter, and
she single-handedly cares for over 60 ADV positive ferrets in her home.
 
I believe Yvonne was the first person to run an ADV positive shelter,
and she was also a key participant in the NJ Xmas rescue a couple of
years ago.  She is one of the most caring people I know.  I foster a
few ferrets for Fuzztek ... Smokey, a 10 year old Marshall Farms ferret,
Sebastian, an 8 year old NJ Xmas rescue, and until recently, Blair, a 7
year old Marshall Farms ferret.
 
When Blair recently passed away (due to liver cancer), it was Yvonne who
cared for her in her final hours, and who stayed awake until 4:30 with my
little girl, comforting her till the end.  Shortly thereafter, Sebastian
wound up under Yvonne's care, when he had a benign nodule removed from
his pancreas.  I just got him back from Yvonne today, and was charmed to
find that Yvonne had not only nursed him back to health, but sent him
home with a little ferret-sized sweater to wear over his shaved belly. :->
(Sebastian was CONSIDERABLY less charmed about this than I was! ;->)
 
Yvonne's life revolves around the ferrets.  Like I said, she cares for
all 60+ ADV positive ferrets by herself, and I know she spends many
weekends doing little else but cleaning cages, feeding them, and
comforting them.
 
If you could perhaps spare a LITTLE money to buy some raffle tickets,
could you please do so to help her?  I'm attaching the info. on the

This raffle, being held by Support Our Shelters, is for the benefit of

1996...it should be retiring soon...when it does...it will double to
triple in value...
 
it would make a great Christmas gift for someone who also loves cats, or
for an investment.
