Last thing!!
About that apartment thing - Basically it is not animals that stink. It
is people who stink. People who take care of themselves take care of
their pets and make sure they don't stink - cause then the person will
too. If you look clean and smell good and wear proper clothing you wont
have a problem. Luckily I live in Ontario and they are not allowed to
ask whether or not I have pets. I do get places that do - but they
basically ask just for their own knowledge. I have lived in many
different buildings and have never been refused. I usually fill out
applications for multiple places before I even make an appointment to
see a place. I have people over quite a bit and they always ask why I
have an empty cage - because Zama is just off doing something somewhere.
They never believe I have a cat and ferret. My parents have 3 dogs, 3
cats and 2 ferrets and no one ever notices when they visit. If someone
is wary about renting to you because you have a ferret. Ask them at
that moment - Can you smell him on me? Of course they will have to say
no and you have proven your point.
