I have spoken with the Richmond City Animal control, which has the wrong
number posted in the phone book, and found out the ferrets are there in
their custody. Yet these two animals will not be released to anyone
where there is a criminal investigation going on which resulted in this
government rescue action. There is no news on the ferrets other than
they are in city custody and they will not be available for adoption
until the investigation and courts free them for adoption which could
take months and maybe even more than a year.
