I just wanted to pop on and say, I was recently in a Petco in the Mid-
West.
 
No only was the cage clean, there were hammies hanging from the bars for
the kits to sleep in, plenty of SOFT food for their baby teeth, toys,
water, AND it was obvious all were handled with care and love.  Not one
of them tired to nip us, even when playing.
 
I think the problems reflect on the stores management not just the
"corporate" rules.
