Poisoning info:
If you don't bookmark it or lose your bookmarks always remember that you
can find such important information by going multiple sites including The
Ferret Health List, The International Ferret Congress, the Ferret Mailing
List Archives, and Miamiferret.
Here are poisoning info addies (since what is done varies depending on
the item or the symptoms) and the addies for those places to help a
person find further info:

Early spay: some vets say the spay surgery is actually easier done
earlier, some worry that either early neutering -- or neutering at all --
may be a part of what plays into developing adrenal neoplasia (one of
many hypotheses but it's not a stand-alone), there are the problems --
as you said -- with early deaths of females who have not been spayed and
thus remain in heat long enough to develop fatal anemia, and with males
who have not been altered and then stink being "released" to die horrible
deaths.

Dad got through an unavoidable large operation yesterday at age 88. He's
not very cognizant today but it's too early for the physicians to know
how much is due to the surgery or if he's maybe had another small stroke.
Hoping for the former, obviously.
Hope this post makes enough sense; I'm tired, nervous, and down with a
bug. Heck, at least writing it is a good distraction!

Nmes: what is her personality like so far? Steve is great at coming up
with personality type names. Glueball clings while she kisses, Meltdown
was incredibly active and melted hearts -- plus she like cheeseburgers
when she could steal a taste and was born near Three mile Island, Warp
was very fast and had a warped sense of humor, Fritter smelled like
corn fritters when she slept and she did fritter around... I think that
someone has a ferrets names list on a website somewhere. If you don't
hear back with the URL try using a search engine like Google.
