Inducing vomiting

I was watching E-vets (like I always do) and I was wondering. What would
happen if my fuzzy ate/swallowed something that they weren't supposed
to?What if Buckie stashed some medicine I didn't know about and swallowed
a piece? What would I do before they got to the vet that's 20 minutes
away. Is there a way to induce vomiting to see if he would throw it
back up? I just want to know for emergencies and such...Just want to be
prepared. I know their digestive system is very fast, and 20 minutes is
a long time for something foreign to be in them...maybe if I could get
them to throw it up before they went to the vet? is there anything out
of the cubbord I could give them if that ever happened?

thanks a bunch!
