Remember Eppy last year? How he was missing for weeks in the freezing
winter weather? Remember how we all learned right along with Donna how
to look for a lost ferret effectively? I'll never forget it because
after the first five days, quite frankly... I lost hope. I lost all hope
after the first week. I never let it on though. Ever. I lost so much
hope that when Donna told me that weeks later, Eppy was found, I confess
I doubted it. I thought to myself ... maybe it's a different ferret and
she is so hopeful she isn't seeing it. She sensed my doubt, and then
promptly sent me a photo of him with his obvious snaggle tooth! I almost
fell over. How is that possible? Well it taught me to NEVER give up.
Ever. It was a great lesson for me.

I don't know how many people are aware of this, but Odin has slyly
escaped his home and lost his way from Donna. She is actively seeking
him now. She has this down to an art folkes. And she has done so much
in helping us learn how to recover lost ferrets and has done so much to
support others who have lost ferrets that I felt compelled to let you,
her friends, know that she is going through this. She needs our support.
So please pray for her and Odin this holiday season.

I"m confident now, after Eppy, that Donna will somehow find Odin.
Through Donnas experience with Eppy I was able to help a couple of others
find their escaped ferrets. I won't panic and freeze now too if it ever
happens to me. I know to go into "find mode" and go through all the
steps. And buddy there's enough of 'em to keep ya busy for a while.
Donna's taught me that :) So during this holiday season, have your
thoughts with this gal and Odin please.

[Donna posted about it here, so it's OK to post her e-mail address. BIG]
