Hello to Ferrets and their Hoomans.

I need some help with 2 of my babies. Just recently, 2 of my ferrets
have started losing weight very rapidly. I just started work and am not
here all the time to make sure they are eating. I know Ashley is eating
but, still losing weight. Evan, however, I have not seen him eat. He
did this about 6 months ago and had quit eating his food and lost alot
of weight. We fought and overcame that by isolating him, monitoring him
and switching his food. Now he is at it again. What could this be
about? I am setting an appointment with a vet.

I have not found any vets in the area that are particularly good with
ferrets. ( Ft. Campbell, KY area ) If you know of any, please let me
know asap so I can schedule with them. If not, he is just going to have
to go to my dog's vet.

Could this be caused by lack of attention? He does know that I will
seperate him and pay especially close attention to him when this happens
because of last time. I know my dog has been acting out since I started
work. Do ferrets do the same thing? Just trying to find any reason he
would stop eating again.

Thank you for your help and Happy Holidays to all!

Sincerely,
Maryi and the Fuzzy Six
