a clarification...i fear some of you may have mis-understood my meaning...
 
"meant to be" is not a light hearted euphamism...an excuse to get a
ferret...it is a strong sense of purpose...it does not go with every
ferret one gets...certain ones...maybe 2 or 3 in a lifetime...fit that
category...
 
this 'imperative' someone feels happens for a reason...and i for one
can not speak for God's reasons...they may or may not become evident
to you...but i strongly believe that when this happens...[and again i
emphasize that it is an "imperative" feeling..not just a whim]...i
still suggest the person heed it...
 
it DOES require self-dicipline...it is not a 'spur of the moment'
buy...but there is a reason for you to get the ferret that speaks to
you that "loudly"....i still advocate for you to heed that strong of
a call...
 
pet store ferrets are here to stay... i for one would rather they are
bought by knowledgable people than by "oh, aren't they cute" ppl...then
less of them would go to shelters... there will always be a market for
ferrets to be sold in stores...even if every one of us people who know
about ferrets stopped buying them...there is always the ignorant ones
that will buy them...
 
and i was one of those...once...but no more...i learned...just as others
will...ferrets are great teachers...

you just have different feelings than i do...and i should not have said
what i did in that regard...
