I got into a conversation about ferrets with a young man from NJ.  He
said that he disliked them, "They bite." I finally traced this belief to
a sign in a local pet store that said to not pet the ferrets because they
bit.  He said this was at Petland in North Bergen, NJ.  If anyone is near
this location, could you stop by and see what's going on in there?
