It is with sad heart to tell my friends that Luigi has passed to the
other side of the Rainbow Bridge. He had been recovering from ulcers
but it had left him very weak. Even though our vet could not find other
problems, I had a gut feeling that he had another chronic problem that
brought on the ulcers frequently. And maybe is what caused his death.
He was walking around and eating last night. Thanks to the reminders
of the many persons on this list that lost their furr friends recently,
I gave my Luigi an extra hug and tucked him in bed last night. This
morning I found him peacefully in his cage.

I know he will never be in pain or discomfort again! Sandee, please
great him soon as he does not know other ferrets there. Please tell him
his family loves him and wanted the best for him. I know your first
couple of years were not optimal but we got books and educated ourselves.
We will all miss you. Hoppy, Luigi's partner in ferret fun, misses you
too.

I remember so vividly all of the cute and not-so-cute things Luigi
did. Like attack an innocent plant sitting in the corner and pulled it
completely out of the pot, roots and all. Running back and forth in a
carpet tube. Dooking trying to get us to play with him. I want to
remember these things forever.

As much as I would like to receive sympathy email from you, please
instead use the time to give your fuzz butts an extra hug or two. I
know my Luigi really like them and decided to become a lap ferret.

I started reading this list in September and I am glad I was able to read
all of the hug reminders. Without the reminders I would now be wishing I
had made the time.

Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they
don't want, to impress people they don't like.
