Hey, everyone.

My vet and I have decided that one of my insulinoma patients is a
candidate for surgery, but my vet has only done a couple of these
surgeries. He asked me to put out some feelers to see if anyone can tell
me/him the "tricks" to pancreatic surgery, like what to clamp off, what
not to clamp off, pre/post surgical care to keep my ferret from a glucose
crash, etc. He said that he didn't want to re-invent the wheel by
stumbling through this surgery, but if he could get some good pointers,
he would be much more comfortable.

Thanks!
