Thank you for your responses but I did want to clear a couple things up
from my previous post. Abby's mother does not come along to visit with
her ... she doesn't want to be without her and she doesn't want her to be
here ... . so that's why I think she's blaming problems on the ferrets,
hoping that if it were true, Abby wouldn't be visiting anymore.
Also my boyfriend and I do not smoke around Abby. We do smoke but ever
since I've had ferrets I have not smoked indoors (and no one else has in
my home) ... I figured that ferrets have enough illnesses that I don't
need to take the chance of adding to them by smoking around them. One
person responded that Abby could be allergic to wood pellets and I guess
that could be true, however, Abby does not have any symptoms arise while
she is here. From what I know about allergies, when you are around the
"culprit" (cause of the allergy) you have symptoms ... what I don't know
is if it's possible to have symptoms arise days or weeks after you were
around the "culprit". I don't think it would take that long but I guess
anything is possible.
