For making Ferret Haven "By-the-Sea" the recipient of the Halloween
Bedding swap! Some spooky looking ferret tubes and bedding were
received! We washed the bedding and some very lucky ferrets are now
enjoying the new soft fleecy bedding - Chippewa the surgery boy (two
surgeries - one to amputate his tail due to a chondroma, a second surgery
for insulinoma/adrenals - currently fighting a bladder infection since
before his surgeries) and his cagemate Seneca the adrenal boy (left
only)....then there is Bandit the stinky girl (suspected adrenal waiting
on surgery for $$) with Ruby the tail-less (chordoma) and they are in a
spiffy new hammock!
Some new kids in the shelter Jacob a 4mo silver mitt and a CinnamonSpice,
a 9 week old chocolate girl are playing with the toys! That spider is
sure cute!
A HUGE Thank you goes out to the coordinator of the bedding swap, Valerie
and the folks that contributed - Deb Carlson and Ada Gibbs - from a very
grateful shelter mom!
