Today my heart has suffered such a blow that it may never be whole again.
After saying good-bye to our Norman in July and to Houdini, Dot, and
Charlie in August.. we now have helped our Old Man Oz to The Bridge to
join them. Oz was my very first ferret...he was 7 years old this month.
He gave me everything he could, and more. He got me through some very
rough times and together we weathered life. He taught me so much about
compassion, love and forgiveness. He taught me just what a ferret is and
can be and together we found love. It was his time to join his brothers
and sister and I blame him not...yet I miss him and the pain is so deep.
He is in no pain and is dancing his side-ways war dance, showing the
youngsters how it's done. He is in a better place, but my heart is so
empty. Sandy, please lead the great and powerful Oz to the right place
and show him the sights.
Thank you all, those who know me not at all, for taking time to read
about my grief and even possibly feeling it. This IS a great group of
people and a wonderful tool.
Dooks to all of you and thank you again.
With a deep heart,
--
