Six or seven months ago, we got a call from Sue Ryan, who rescues cats &
dogs. She had a little white ferret, needing a home.Wanted to know if we
would take him.
During our conversation, I discovered she had a ferret--now an only,
who had recently lost his cage mate. After a wonderful visit, she was
convinced to keep the boy!
She called, tonight.... The older one never really accepted the younger
one--Sue has caged them seperately---She is so busy with her rescues that
she doesnt have much extra time to run both of them---- She wants him to
go to a kind, ferret-knowledgable home.
This boy is "creamy-yellowish" in color, with dark eyes. Very friendly &
playful.(Only nips toes during playtime!) Has had distemper shot, and a
recent BGL done (No insulinoma) The vet she saw, placed him at about
three years of age. He has been eating Science diet Kitten.
She requests someone near Geneva, Illinois--Wants to be sure he gets a
great human---and that if it doesn`t work out, she is nearby enough to
take him back.
There`s a picture of him at www.helpinganimals.com Sue`s phone # (posted
with permission) is ( 630) -208-8630 Please call her, if you have room in
your heart & home for another one.....
SECOND FERRET---
A friend of mine got the call on this one----- a sable boy, found romping
through someone`s yard, at midnight! I have not seen him. She thinks
he`s about 5--He`s very docile---Allowed bath, inspection, and nail
trimming, without a fuss. He has a lump, on the top side of his tail.
She doesn`t know what it is. May require surgery--not sure...
This baby is in Sycamore, Illinois. She is heartbroken that she cannot
keep him, and has asked me to post here. Maybe there`s someone out there
who is willing to take this boy in & love him.
You can either email us at [log in to unmask] (the sanctuary addy) or you can
call (815) 895-8005 (posted with permission) and ask for Cindy.
We are currently at full capacity, but hopefully can assist in finding
wonderful homes for both of these sweethearts!
Love,
