Why do people operate shelters without any kind of institutional,
governmental, or charitable support to count on? Why do people take in
sick, unwanted, lost, and almost sentenced-to-die fuzzies when they don't
know where the money to support it all will come from? That was the
question that someone asked, wasn't it?

The answer is simple. FAITH. Doing God's work always requires Faith.
Faith that it's worth it. Faith that things will work out one day at a
time. Faith that the personal sacrifices are worth it because of the
overall good work being done.

If the only people who did God's work were those who were sure where the
money was coming from at all times, there wouldn't be much faithful work
of the heart being done.

God blesses the shelter operators. Unless you've walked the walk, at the
least sent in what dollars you can afford to help, then keep please keep
your cynical lack of faith to yourself. Please only send positive energy
and support to those dedicated folks who walk the floors at night with
sick fuzzies, feeding them every three hours with syringes, holding them
through their illnesses, nursing the abused and sick, caring for them all
day after day. Pray for the shelters, their operators, and their
residents every day. God knows they are there. Faith.

You asked the question. The answer is FAITH.

Cindy and the fudge ferts, who can't afford much but give what we can
whenever we can to whomever is doing God's work with the blessed fuzzies.
