Regarding the pet store in the Holyoke mall at Mass.  I live an hour away
from there but when i first got my sweety,like 1998, i would go in to
look at those little guys at that pet store and they looked terrrible.  I
told the lady at the counter the ferrets looked bad she said someone had
been coming in to help with them and play with them (maybe a local
shelter, maybe the "Educated Ferret" in S. Hadley.  Donnna Esperito is
always near the phone for ferrets, and I've called her.  I'.m sure you
can talk to her about it and she could advise what to do.  Just making
noise about it to her will help from experience, I know she LOVES
ferrets.
