dooks all
 
i been feeling good these pst few days: back about the 4th i had the
oppertunity to be part of a rescue.  i recieved a phone call from an
elderly couple that had found a ferret that had been running around thier
trailer park for the past 2 weeks and would i like to have it.  when i
asked if they had put a notice in the paper they said no becouse that
would cost money.  any way i went over to see it and her is a a little
girl looks about 3 maybe 4 months old, very skinny, dehidrated,and she
had been biten ( infected).
 
now i'm told she has been loose around the park for the past 2 months
( ya- right ).  when i said i would still put up a notice a the nearby
store the old man says don't bother she belongs to me now and if anyone
has a problem with that he will staiten them out.i said o-k loaded her up
and left.  on the way home i called oregon ferret shelter, they hooked me
up with a couple in winlock wa and aranged to have her sent down there
becouse i am unable to handle medecal problems at this time and she
needed help as soon as possible.  as of now i'm hoping she is doing well.
 
also since i recently aquiered my little barny toteling 2 fuzzys helping
and learning how to be owned by 2 of them i thought i would share it
with you.  i now i'm suposed to keep them apart for a while but the
antisapation was more than i could handle!  they were apart for about 3
days, then i started with 15 min.  playtime together 2 or 3 times a day
by the second day they were sleeping together so they have been in the
same cage since.  they had a fight the other day and i found some blood
on samanthas neck (must have been a pinprick becouse i couldn't find a
wound).so they spent that night seperated.  and now if barny can't find
samantha he panicksand serches every were.  then today they had another
fight (no blood) i put barny in the basement cage closed the gate turned
my back and shut off the light and left for about 15 min.  then placed
him back with samantha.  what shocked me a few min.  later he was laying
beside samantha crying!  i picked him up held him and gave him some
treats and he was happy .
