CJ,

I do not know what to say except that you did everything you could to
help her. I cannot even comprehend what you must be going through, but
please, let me know how I can help. You know how to reach me.

I think CJ has said it best when she stated how short life is and how
some things just are not worth it. I had a major eye opener this week,
as well. My brother had to undergo triple bypass surgery at age 37. He
is my second sibling that has had this at this age. My concern is that
I will be next.

So, I have come to the conclusion that I will no longer fight for the
ferrets or continue to be part of this community. When I think back,
life was much simpler for me prior to becoming "involved" and I just
simply enjoyed my own ferrets. I will continue to help my friend with
her shelter, but that is it. I am quite sure that some of you are
jumping for joy, doing high fives, screaming "hooray", but I hope at the
same time you stop and realize the same thing I have...it could save your
health. These animals are to be enjoyed, not fought over. Live and
learn.

To CJ, I hope that those employees at your workplace who put her down,
etc...for standing up for what she believed, feel terrible for how they
treated her. It is a hard lesson for them to learn, I am sure, but at
least they realize it. I hope they find her murderer and that you are
safe! I am worried about you.

Thank you to those of you who have been supportive of me. If you ever
need anything, don't hesitate to contact me privately.

To BIG, I hope you continue to run the FML and that you don't burn
out. I am sorry if I contributed to any of your exhaustion. It was not
worth it.

Please people, STOP AND SMELL THE FLOWERS (or at least, your ferrets).

Take care,
Danielle
