I have a carpeted piece of cat furniture for my guys to climb on and
the carpeting is supposedly infused with catnip--it could just be
coincidence, but I think the catnip makes them dig more at the carpeting
since it has a unique smell.  Which is good, because they are thus much
less inclined to dig much at the regular carpet :)
 
Nicknames--got them in buckets!  Together they are known as the monster
weasels, and individually some common ones are:
 
Pan: Pandemonium, Panorama, Panorama Ding Dong, Pan-Pan, Pan Paniscus,
sable weasel guy, cutie toes, clever weasel
 
Seti: Setiwumpus, big yellow weasel, vin weasel, Seti-Ferret, fierce
weasel, blondie, sweetheart, kissyface
 
Actually, I guess that both "Pan" and "Seti" are nicknames in and of
themselves, as they are short for Pantalaimon and Setanta :)
