I had a deaf ferret named Weeds. He was terrified of being left alone and
made weird screeching noises.Sometimes he would show fear if held I him..
he would sense my vibrations on coming into the room and sometimes run
like heck for no apparant reason.
Be patient about his fear of being held. Some ferts don't like it too
much in any event. Some deaf ferts do behave differently because they
are impaired. You will have to learn how to best deal with your fert ,
so he is not easily alarmed, suprised, frightened. I know our FML Wolfy
has a site for deaf ferret info.. you can ask [log in to unmask] ( i
hope she does not mind this)
