A large envelope arrived in the mail today for Dino. He opened it up
and -- roared!
Well let me fill you in. Every year they have a chocolate Jubilee in
Marlborough, NH-- every year we do NOT get to go because we are off at
some ferrety event But -- THIS YEAR we were home.
I KNEW I WAS GOING my body screamed chocolate deficiency !!! -- and
after some minor nagging- convinced Dino it would be FUN to have him bake
a cake.
It was fun! Some of the cakes were dry and heavy there was fudge,
cookies, pies and more and - well you get the point. It was fun tasting
lots of chocolatey things too -- and it helped a local charity-- a youth
group going to a 3rd world country to work for habitat for humanity.
Back to the envelope
Dino opened it and pulled out a certificate which reads:
This is to certify that
Dino Drakiotes
Is Hereby Awarded
FIRST PLACE

March 30, 2002
This same cake ( and other great desserts) will be at Ferretstock III -
available to buy by the slice or a whole cake in the Dessert Auction
for ADV Research -- so mark your calendars - Sept 7th Ferretstock-
