I know that VPI offers ferret health insurance, the website will not give
quotes on it though.  I was wondering if anyone knows about how much it
costs and if it is something worth looking further into.  If anyone has
any info let me know.
 
Monkey update~ I have what has to be one of the most finicky ferrets
I've ever met.  Only likes one certain toy.  (the cat's feather on a
string/stick toy that they never ever played with.) anyway my son bought
her the cutest little stuffed frog from the pet store, but she's never
touched it.  I work 12 hour shifts 3 days in a row on the weekends and
when I get home in the morning I let her play in the bedroom while I
sleep.  This morning.  (2 p.m...afternoon for all you dayshift/daytime
people!)I woke up with this silly frog on my pillow.  I thought maybe the
fiance was being cute and tossed it back in with the ferts toys.  The
next thing I know I woke up to find her dragging it accross the floor and
back onto the bed where she left it on my arm.  I had to laugh.  I would
love to know what she was thinking...
