Went out and bought the hubby a case of "Teenies" for work (the little,
juice wanna-be's that come in a little plastic barrel-looking jug with a
foil cover---kinda like kool-aid). So Tim decided he needed something
deeper in the closet than they were, so he took them out and left the case
on the brand new living room carpet (can you see where this is going)?
Tim left them there. Enter Amber. Ah, yes, a nice, big cardboard box
with an opening (Tim had previously drank about 4 of them out of 24). She
promptly climbed in it, so I tell Tim he should take her out and put them
away (he was sitting on the floor right next to them). He takes Burgie
out, and decided he did not feel like getting up at the moment, so tucking
the cardboard in the box would be good enough for the time being. (Yeah.
Right. Sure. If you say so.)

We got engrossed in a conversation and all of a sudden he said, "Why is my
hand getting wet?" The bottom of the white cardboard box had turned blue
and orange. He looked and sure enough, there was a little weasel who was
soaked looking back up at him, as if to say, "There a problem, Papa?"
Luckily the new carpet is brownish in color, so the mix of blue and orange
didn't stain (though we hit it with some Oxyclean just to make sure)! She
had punctured 5 of the little jugs, and was having the time of her life
until we rudely interupted her fun. Tim promptly carried the case to the
dumpster. She saw him head out the door with it, and after he came back
empty-handed, promptly scratched at the door for 15 minutes (she never
scratches at that door - only the closet door). And man, what a sticky
mess she was! After her bath, I saw her secretly giving Da Papa kisses
for leaving the case out in the first place!

Amber: "Papa, you didn't really think I couldn't open a cardboard flap,
did you? How long have I been your weasel?"
