Well, it's literally been years since I've posted to this group, and your
story about Mr. Haveman and Kodo just brought up all of those memories
for me too.
 
First, I'm glad that you decided to stay and allow the "adults" to play
with your ferrets, the best we can always do is this kind of ferret
awareness.
 
Second, I'm glad that little Kodo's life wasn't forgotten and that this
event made Mr. Haveman move towards helping to enact the quarantine for
Michigan.
 
I remember being involved in the forefront with that case, it wasn't
easy, it was heartbreaking, and years later, I still get filled up when
I think of this case.
 
Again, how wonderful that you decided to stay.
