before scooter butt crossed i had to pretreat him!  i used the over the
counter benadryl 1 teaspoon about 1/2 an hour to 1 hour before the shots
where given!  this cuts down on the shot cost!  the first time after he
got his shots it cost me an extra $55.  that is when i asked if there was
something i could give him to pretreat him at home before the visit!  the
dose is 1/2 teaspoon - 1 whole teaspoon for every 4 pounds of weight!
