My baby is still missing. We've put flour around the carriers, and last
night we put out sleeping bags in case she decided to curl up in one of
them. Today I'm calling about live traps, because this is really my last
resort. If she's alive, and still nearby, hopefully this will finally
capture her.

I put up new signs yesterday, since Sunday's rain destroyed a number of
the other ones. This morning I woke up to find that most in my immediate
neighborhood had been torn down. I guess the neighbors are getting
pissed that I'm destroying the beauty of the neighborhood. I can't
pursue it too much, though, as we have a county law forbading anything
to be posted on public property. So I've already run the risk of fines.
Plus, I'm at work during the day, and can only put up signs in the
evening. Then by the next morning they're gone? I can't keep up with
that pace. And we have a cop who lives down our street and I want to
stay in his good neighborly graces.

I am so frustrated by being disappointed, and yet I can't stop looking
for her. I asked for a special angel to watch over her and bring her
back to me.

I'll never forgive myself for missing her on Saturday when she was here.
We were only gone an hour putting up signs but I should have stayed.
This would have all been over then. I'll never forgive myself.
