THat was one of the things that got me thinking mites were involved.  I
kept reading notes from peole who said their vet put a drop of ivermectin
on the ferrets tail and it cured black heads.  Didn't work too well for
me, I think because the blackhead sealed the pore from the ivermec.
Revolution is supposed to pass thru the skin into the bloodstream then
work it's way back out thru the pores so that would bring it in contact
with any organism that might be occupieing the pore.
