FML Family,
Ferret Corner Shelter has 3 shelter ferrets right now. Here is a little
information on them (website will be updated later next week):
Zorro - 3 year old male, neutered/descented. He is a very sweet little
sable. We are trying to fatten him up before he is adopted out. He
doesn't bite and likes to be held. He gets a long great with the other
ferrets...though he is afraid of some of them if they run around too
much. He should be ready for adoption in August.
Sammy - 10 month old male, neutered/descented. This little guy is a
character! He gives kisses once in awhile but what is so funny about
this cinnamon boy is that when you play with him he mainly just keeps his
mouth open like he is going to bite you but doesn't. He still plays a
little rough with some of the ferrets but it is cause he is so big and
strong for his age. He doesn't bite and is actually pretty good with
using the litter box in and out of the cage. He loves to dig. He is
ready for adoption now.
Buster - 4 1/2 year old male, neutered/descented. He was our "special
needs" ferret. He was real skinny when we got him but has improved SO
much. He is pretty much off of duck soup...though he now wants Ensure!
He will be going to the vet again tomorrow for his rabies shot and then
he will be current on his shots. He is somewhat blind but has a nose
that can smell anything! He is a sweetie and look out when he gets in
the sand box! He starts bouncing and flips right out! He is ready for
adoption now.
FERRETS ON THE LOOSE PICNIC/FUND RAISER is scheduled for November 17th at
the Veterans Memorial Park in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
If you are interested in adopting one of the ferrets above or helping
out with the picnic or donations please call Joanne or Shawn at
