Dear Peter-
How about a big name for a small weasel, Henri De Toulouse-Lautrec?
He was a very talented 19th century artist who epitomizes the French
'Cabaret Scene', evidently an outstanding time to stay up all night and
drink absinthe with actresses and dancers, and ladies of perhaps dubious
charachter... he rendered them so lovingly and in such fabulous swirls of
sweeping color and movement. The man never grew properly, and was only 4
1/2 feet tall. Evidently his size didn't slow him down a bit. Here is
perhaps more than you ever wanted to know about him, scroll down for
images.
