First of all, thank you to all who responded to my vet question.  We have
an exam and vaccination visit this Monday! ;)  Also, we just got another
ferret yesterday (female, Coonsie is a male), we are working on her name.
 
I can't tell our new ferrets' actions apart - are they playing or
fighting?  Coonsie is very aggressive with her, lots of biting.  He will
run at her with his mouth wide open sometimes.  And "no" he doesn't
usually attack and bite us when we play with him.  Their play time will
be 100% supervised until I am more educated on how ferrets play together.
Can anyone inform me on how I can tell if they are getting along or not?
 
Coonsie is solely focused on attacking/playing with our new female, while
she does her own thing...sniffing around, climbing, investigating her new
house, and occassionally defending herself from a wild attack.  We've had
Coonsie for over a month, just to give you an idea of their age gap.  I
know it was a good choice to get a playmate for Coonsie, but I am just
overly concerned for our new girl's safety.  When they are in cages, I
have them in separate cages when we aren't around to supervise...to be
safe...but I want to eventually and soon have them in the same cage.
 
ANY help, advice, or suggestions please!
