I am curious about what you said about vaccinations, especially distemper.
I think my vet used a distemper vaccination specifically for ferrets.  Do
they get illnesses from being vaccinated?  The reason I am asking is that
I had a cat for 19 years who was only vaccinated as a kitten and one other
time.  But she didn't go out and my ferret Rocky does occaisionally.  I
know other people who took their cats to the vet frequently and they were
always sick and my cat was healthy her entire life.
 
Also curious what other people think about distemper shots.
