Hi everyone,
Just wanted to give an update on Pukka's situation: I've figured out
I'll be able to afford to keep all three ferrets!  I'm living in my new
apartment now, and I think in all the distraction of moving in, hiding her
toys, trying to dig up the carpet, etc., Pukka has actually been biting
less (knock wood).  She will still get a bit too rough while playing with
me, but i *think* there's progress.  The other thing is I just can't give
her up!  She's starting to learn to give kisses instead of bites, and I
selfishly feel like no one can love her as much as I do (does anyone else
ever feel that way about their fuzzies?).  I told her she was staying here
with mama, and she seemed very pleased with this idea.  Thanks to everyone
who's given me advice, and I'm sure Pukka thanks you too!
