My ferret has been losing weight over the last month and threw up a LARGE
2 inch hairball two days ago. He is now not eating his usual kibble and
has bad diarrhea. Has anyone else seen this type of reaction following a
thrown up hairball? I started feeding him chicken baby food today, but
I'm hesitant to start feeding a new type of kibble (he has eaten a few
pieces of a sample of Precise kitten food I picked up) because the new
food may upset his stomach even more. Should I stick with only the baby
food for awhile and hope he starts eating his usual mix again or should I
go ahead and feed him the new food which he will eat???

Thanks, Michael
