I received a call this morning from Dale Nupp, the generous
accountant who helped SOS get our 501(c)3, to say that he had called
the DelCo SPCA about the 6 ferrets.  They told him there was only one
and that he was still being held to see if an owner would claim him.
If he is not claimed Dale will adopt him, so that is good news for
that ferret.  Dale is a great ferret dad.
 
I did wonder why the SPCA told Chrissy Smith that they had 3 and then 6,
but I hoped it meant they were confused or that the ferrets had been
claimed.  I did not call or visit them myself.  Then Chrissy called me
this afternoon to say that today one person at the SPCA told her they had
the one ferret, but later another person told her they had three.  She
had been hoping that I'd adopted 5 of them :) Now she and I can't figure
out what might be going on, so I will definitely visit them tomorrow and
let people know if there are more ferrets than the one Dale wants to
adopt.
