Seeing the mentions of performing the Heimlich maneuver on a ferret jogged
my memory, but only slightly...maybe this will jog someone else's better
so they remember where the source was and if the info is helpful. I
recall seeing photos either of the Heimlich/CPR for a ferret...
The ferret is laid along a person's arm, with their head in the palm of
the hand, grasping them lightly behind the front legs, then the arm is
lifted and lowered smoothly but rapidly, so the 'centrifugal force'
principal is applied, either dislodging an object or helping stimulate
heart/lung response. Does anyone recall this? I don't remember if I
saw it in a ferret magazine, or one of the ferret books...
