Reglan, an anti-emetic with prokinetic properties is used to stimulate
contractions of the GI tract. As such, it is contraindicated in the
treatment of blockages - the induced motility may precipitate a rupture.
If you strongly suspect a blockage, then exploratory surgery is usually
the best bet.
