I was in Wal-Mart yesterday and remembered the post from several days
ago about a mouse that hangs from the top of a door by an elastic band
and costs $1.96. I went to the pet section and found one.

The description of a fuzzy playing with that thing until near exhaustion
was no exaggeration -- Loki went nuts over it. He would jump up and grab
it, give it a good shaking, then try to run off with it. Of course, the
elastic would eventually win and the little mouse would fly back to the
door, with Loki in hot pursuit. This scene repeated itself until I
finally lost count of how many times, and Loki -- ball of energy that he
is -- was worn completely out.

My one suggestion is to only let the fuzzies play with it with
supervision. I can see where an over-enthusiastic fuzzbutt could
accidentally become entangled in the elastic with unpleasant results.

For anyone interested, the toy is made by "Playful Pet", and the package
reads, "Door Buddies". It's the most fun I've had for two bucks in a
long time, not to mention the fun Loki is having!

Thanks for the tip!
