I just finished a 3 dimensional art piece. A lady ferret with blond hair
is walking down the path after exiting a church, and is holding a candle,
and looking up into the sky. It is winter, and there is snow on the roof
of the church, on the trees, and on the ground.
The poem to go with it reads:
In the Dawning Shine
The candle burns for you tonight
As on my path I pray:
'God grant me peace that I might sleep.
My sweet is long away.'
Some days I miss you,
Then move on:
Then call to heart your face.
No matter how my life contrives-
Pure love does not erase.
God, grant me peace
that I might sleep.
Thus, in the dawning shine:
bright memories of deepest joy-
Of life when you were mine.
I was really missing Baby-who was my true love: true as in faithful,
honest, loving, sweet onto death. If anyone would alter the poem to make
it better-please E-mail me and tell me what you might do.I thought
of--naught else could take ----your place??, or naught else could fill
our space. All are true. Which is better?
Thank you
Lisette
