I have a 5 1/2 year old female fuzz with a right adrenal tumor, otherwise
she's in fantastic health. She is currently being treated (and responding
well) with Lupron. She's scheduled for cryosurgery (& cutting) to remove
the the tumor, which from the ultrasound looks to have adheared to the
vena cava. The surgeon seems knowledgeable & competant (though not my
regular vet).
If anyone has any experience with right adrenal tumor removal (involving
the vena cava) using traditional cutting in conjunction with cryosurgy, I
would be interested to hear what the outcome was. Success/failure and
health of the ferret post surgery, re-occurrance of the tumor.
Thank you in advance,
Holly (Hannah & Bear)
